On the sidelines of yesterday’s Mercedes-AMG C 63 S in New Delhi, the company has announced that it will launch a new product on September 25. The launch event will also introduce Mercedes-Benz India Ltd’s new MD and CEO Roland Folger.
According to our sources, Mercedes-Maybach S 600 flagship luxury limousine is the product which is chosen to mark the new MD and CEO’s Indian innings. It’s to be noted that an example of the super premium saloon had already been imported into India.
Visually, the most luxurious Mercedes can be identified by means of the exclusive wheel design and Maybach logo on the C-pillar. The car is longer than the standard model by a good 207 mm with a longer wheelbase of 200 mm.
The opulent interior offers electrically adjustable individual rear seats with plethora of comfort, convince and entertainment features. Salient features of the car includes heating/cooling and massage functions, LED ambient lighting, cabin atomizer (keeps the cabin filled with a subtle fragrance), high-end entertainment package and many more. The car is packed with top-notch safety and driver assistance systems as well.
Powering the long wheelbase S Class variant is a 6.0-litre V12 petrol engine which generates a healthy 530 PS and 830 Nm of torque. A 7-speed dual-clutch transmission drives the rear wheels.
In Europe, Mercedes-Maybach S 600 is priced at €187,841 (around INR 1.46 crore) so expect it to be priced over INR 2 cr mark in India.
