Mercedes V Class 8 seater van gets the AMG look

Marking the first time that an AMG Line package is being offered on a model of Mercedes Benz Vans division, the new Mercedes V Class AMG Line comes in with styling upgrades and a host of comfort features which are seen only on an AMG variants.

Boasting of largest panoramic roof in mid size van segment, Mercedes V Class AMG Line is seen with redesigned front and rear aprons, new side sill panels and new spoiler lip. It also receives 19-inch AMG light alloy wheels with seven-twin-spoke design.

The 1.90 x 1.12 meter sun roof allows interiors to be well lit. It consists of a two piece construction electrically operated glass roof in the front and fixed section at the rear.

Consisting of rain sensing features, the roof automatically closes when it starts raining. Apart from this, the roof and roller blinds are electrically operated via a switch in the overhead console in front and central overhead switch at the rear.

Interiors are dominated by comfortable leather seats for upto 8 adults (6 seater variant in the images), pay special attention to comforts with rear seat air conditioning, two iPad holders and LED illuminated thermo cup holders.

Comfortable and functional passenger seats, the interiors also see a five liter cooler box, USB connections and an SD card slot besides a 220 volt and 12 volt sockets for charging of laptops and mobile phones.

AMG Line pack is on offer with all engine variants and body lengths of V-Class and V-Class Avantgarde.

Air vents are in silver chrome while sports pedal clusters are in brushed aluminium along with a host of carbon fiber accents. Abounding in safety features, optional extras include separately opening rear window, Active Parking Assist, Driving Assistance package with COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST, Blind Spot Assist, Lane Keeping Assist and PRE-SAFE.
