The MG Hector, launched in India on 27th June 2019, has received overwhelming response from buyers in the country. Orders touched 28,000 units, in about 22 days post launch. The Hector is sold out for the ongoing calendar year.

MG Motors now plans to ramp up production from a current 2,000 units a month to around 3,000 units by September so as to complete pending orders and re-open bookings for 2020 delivery.

MG Hector, which challenges the likes of the Mahindra XUV500, Tata Harrier, Jeep Compass, Hyundai Creta and the Kia Seltos, is definitely a car ‘Worth Waiting For’. It is for this reason that the company has introduced this innovative scheme under which customers can avail reward points.

Loaded with features, the spacious family car, MG Hector gets i-SMART connected car technology, a panoramic sunroof, tyre pressure monitoring system and all LED lighting. Engine specifications include a 1.5 liter turbo petrol engine offering 143 PS power and 250 Nm torque.

The 2.0 liter diesel engine offers 170 PS power and 350 Nm torque. Both these power trains are BSIV compliant as on date but the engine will soon meet BS VI emission norms prior to the deadline of 1st April 2020.
