Hector comes with class-leading i-Smart technology that allows users to be connected on the go, all while making driving a hassle-free and pleasurable experience. i-Smart is powered by a 5G-ready M2M (machine to machine) embedded SIM, which is a segment first features.

All info can be effortlessly viewed on a 10.4 inch touchscreen infotainment system, which is the largest in its class. With i-Smart, users can access various features such as remote vehicle control, real-time traffic updates, voice assistant, emergency call, vehicle status, geo-fencing, vehicle usage reports, etc. i-Smart has been made possible with contributions from top companies such as Microsoft, SAP, Cisco, Cognizant, Panasonic, Adobe, Airtel, Unlimit, and Nuance.

Engine options for Hector include a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, a 48V petrol hybrid and a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine. Petrol variant makes 143 PS @ 5000 rpm and 250 Nm @ 1600-3600 rpm. Engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. A DCT option is also offered, which is another class-leading feature. Diesel variant generates 170 PS power @ 3750 rpm and 350 Nm torque @ 1750-2500 rpm. Engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. Safety features on-board the Hector include 6 airbags, electronic stability program (ESP), traction control system (TCS), hill hold control, ABS with EBD, brake assist, 360° camera view, electric parking brake, tyre pressure monitoring system, front parking sensors and Isofix child seat anchors.
