With the launch of Windsor CUV, MG Motor India quickly stole the limelight from rival brands with respect to electric vehicles. The company wants to expand its portfolio to incorporate more vehicles in premium end, populating their MG Select premium dealerships.
JSW MG Motor India is poised to showcase its vision for the future of Indian automotive landscape at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. MG’s Theme for this expo is called ‘Drive.Future’ and is set to be a spectacle of sustainability-led future products at Hall 02, Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi between January 17-22, 2025. Here’s what to expect from MG’s pavilion at BMGE 2025.
1. MG Cyberster
At Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, MG will showcase Cyberster electric sportscar. Not only will this be MG’s hottest product showcase, but it might very well be the hottest showcase in the entire Expo. That’s because JSW MG Motor is launching Cyberster in India through their MG Select dealerships.
This 2-Door electric convertible sports car is supremely pretty and has a lot of sauce with its scissor doors. It will pack 510 bhp, 725 Nm and the ability to sprint to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. MG Cyberster aims to be a new benchmark in Indian sportscar segment. Active aerodynamics, precision handling, superior performance and accessible price tag are notable attributes.
2. MG M9
Alongside the low-slung Cyberster, viewers will find a tall, imposing and stately-looking MG M9 luxury limousine. This is an electric luxury minivan with oodles of space and comfort. It has all the features and creature comforts to put luxury cars to shame and will be the second vehicle to be sold through MG Select showrooms.
MG M9 is dedicated to serving chauffeur-driven buyers with utmost comfort and opulence. It has ottoman seats, three-zone climate control, a touchscreen panel on handrail for 2nd-row occupants to control vehicular functions and more. It can seat up to 7 occupants across three rows of seating.
3. MG iML6
iML6 is a culmination of automotive engineering pushed to the max. This is basically MG flexing the engineering might of SAIC. iML6 deuted at Geneva Motor Show 2024 and is hailed as an automotive marvel as it packs solid-state batteries. It features new-age styling, futuristic technology and uncompromising performance.
With a solid-state battery pack, MG iML6 promises a significantly higher range and packs five-fold safety protection technology in the form of heat insulation and fire retardant materials. An intelligent digital chassis and a hurricane motor promise massive performance potential along with ultra-fast-charging capabilities.
4. MG 7 Trophy
While JSW MG Motor India’s emphasis is electric vehicles, the company is still a major player in ICE vehicles. In their global portfolio, the company has MG 7 Trophy, which will be showcased in India at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. This Coupe-style performance sedan gets a 2.0L turbo Petrol engine that generates around 255 bhp and can sprint to 100 km/h in 7.7 seconds. It has a luxurious cabin and a lot of space as well.
5. Windsor EV
With the launch of Windsor EV, JSW MG Motor India re-wrote the automotive rulebook by offering BaaS pricing plans. Windsor EV has emerged victorious as it has been India’s highest-selling electric car for three consecutive months since launch. It has a plethora of smart features and creature comforts along with a host of industry-first attributes, making it a lovely vehicle to be in. Windsor EV is also immensely spaciously and vastly accommodating as well.
6. MG Hector
Alongside their current rockstar, Windsor EV, MG Motor will also showcase Hector SUV at BMGEP 2025. The one that started it all, for MG Motor India. Ever since its launch, MG Hector has been a prominent contender in mid-size SUV segment and was India’s first Internet-inside SUV. It has many industry-best elements like the portrait-oriented 14-inch infotainment display, top-notch comfort, Level-2 ADAS, i-Smart telematics and more.
