MG Motor India and Zoomcar partner – Experience Hector SUV before Buying

After partnering with Myles Cars in June this year, MG Motor India has partnered with Zoomcar to offer customers a chance to experience their cars without actually buying

MG Motor India and Zoomcar have come together with vehicle subscription options. While leasing cars is a new-ish ownership type in India, corporates have been leasing vehicles for it’s executives for a while now. In recent time, such lease option are being curated to be a feasible personal car ownership option.

MG Motor India vehicle subscriptions

MG Motor India and Zoomcar partnership further builds on personal mobility in India through vehicle subscription. MG Motor will leverage Zoomcar’s vehicle subscription platform. Through the association, MG takes a further step in the subscription market with Zoomcar managing the subscription program for MG. MG’s vehicle lineup (Hector, Hector Plus and ZS EV) is available through flexible 12-, 24-, or 36-month subscription programmes.

Zoomcar and MG Motor partnership is built on the backup of 24×7 support to subscribers in regard to bookings and vehicle listings. Customer support services include on-ground fleet management, logistics support, vehicle scheduling, and onboarding. MG Motor looks to tap the subscription model to bring its connected cars to a target audience.

MG Hector

Zoomcar expects an increase in car subscriptions in the months to come as users find alternatives to avoid public transport and ride-hailing services, while at the same time remaining free from traditional car ownership models. As the industry is only just beginning to explore car subscriptions for a larger customer pool, such plan swill further evolve and offer more flexibility in time.

Zoomcar has been in the car leasing business for years, and is focussed on having an extended lineup of vehicles for its subscription model. With office goers changing the way they work, and financing as a whole being continually monitored and tweaked to best suit current needs, it’s no doubt that car ownership models too need to be updated.
