When MG Motor India got to business last year, along with focus on its modern day cars, the auto manufacturer stressed on tech capability in its cars. And so, every presentation and every opportunity, saw MG Motor India linked with the convenience of using its flagship Hector. This tech convenience was duly absorbed in its MG ZS EV, which was launched later.

Now, MG Motor India has introduced its MY MG APP. With this customers can use a range of services from the safe confines of home. MG customers are already experiencing this convenience through a dedicated app to make possible a large range of interactions. MY MG App is easy to access after signing up through Mobile + OTP. Based on mobile phone number, the app adds vehicle details. With this one can now buy a MG online, a trend that’s being supported by manufacturers now.

The convenience of online booking will help initiate the car buying process without having to go to a dealership. This in itself may not be possible fr all interested customers owing to opening of dealerships. Operations are being permitted by government and local authorities depending on safety of a certain zone.

Of course this is likely to change at a moments notice. With all dealerships unable to function, and new protocols in place at showrooms in regard to maintaining social distancing with the physical confines of a showroom, manufacturers are now planning booked visitations rather than the age old tradition of walk-ins at dealerships wherever possible.

Through the app, customers can track and trace a new car booking. The process offers an end to end feel with updates from production to final delivery in case you’re buying a MG ZS EV.

The app details warranty coverage, protect plans, and the vehicle’s digital manual. Car features, service cost estimate, service history with total expense to date, service due date reminder, service appointment booking avenue with pick up and drop convenience can all be accessed in the app.

One can be involved in vehicle servicing through live tracking, and connect with the designated service advisor. Payments for a service can be made through the app, and you will be in receipt of an E-invoice for service job cards.

Alongside bookings, the app brings a world of convenience in regard to post-service requirements, delivery, and due visits. The document wallet feature lets one store Pan, Aadhar, Driving Licenses, PUC copies. The app is updated regularly with new features added as and when available.
