ABS with brake assist is also among its safety featuers.

Where mechanics are concerned, the Mini Countryman Black Edition gets the same engine as seen on the JCW Inspired variant. This BS6 2.0 liter, turbocharged, 4 cylinder petrol engine makes 192 PS peak power and 280 Nm peak torque and is mated to an 8 speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. Acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph is achieved in 7.5 seconds. Mileage claimed is 14.41 kmpl.

The Mini Countryman does not have any direct rival, but as per price range, it competes with the likes of BMW X1, Mercedes Benz GLA, Audi Q3 and Volvo XC40.
