Mobil 1 took F1 fans closer to the action with toll-free DND on Indian GP race day

Resultantly, DND flyway access was toll-free from 00.01 am to 11.59 pm on Sunday October 27, 2013 and was extended to all vehicles passing to and from BIC in Greater Noida.

Mobil 1, a company that has been associated with motorsports for over 4 decades and with F1 for over 3 decades has been actively involved in the 2013 GP by supplying race fuel and high specification engine oils for the smooth and efficient functioning of the vehicles.

Branding was clearly visible at Terminal 3 (T3) of Delhi airport and at Delhi-Noida-Delhi toll plaza as part of the company’s “Brings You Closer To The Action” campaign. Posters, hoardings, wall paintings, online branding and radio advertising were part of Mobil 1’s Motorsports promotions.

With F1 in its third year in India, ExxonMobil promises to bring motorsports fans closer to the action and provide them with unique racing experience. To help illustrate what Mobil 1 can do for engines, we wanted to do our part to pave the way for F1 fans during race day,” said Ravi Sundar, General Manager, Marketing, ExxonMobil Lubricants Pvt. Ltd India.

The out of home (OOH) advertising further re-instates our commitment to bring the F1 experience closer to enthusiast. The campaign aims to engage F1 fans, auto experts and I am especially pleased with some of the unique messaging on radio from Jenson Button and other auto experts. Delhites and NCR residents can expect more exciting F1 outdoor campaigns in the time to come,” he added.
