MV Agusta Brutale 1090 bookings open in India; priced at INR 19.3 lakhs

Motoroyale, a Kinetic Group Venture which is responsible of MV Agusta’s Indian operations, has commenced bookings for the MV Agusta Brutale 1090 litre-class naked superbike. The motorcycle which will be imported into India as a CBU is priced at INR 19.3 lakhs (ex-showroom, Pune.

The company has not revealed the booking amount but customers can register their interest through the official Indian website (www.motoroyale.in) so that the sales team can get it touch with them. The motorcycle is claimed to be delivered in 20 days after the booking.

The motorcycle has an exotic design which is characterized by an elliptical headlamp, massive fuel tank, exposed red trellis frame, cantilevered tailpiece, twin exhaust canisters, single-sided swing arm, meaty Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tyres and LED taillights. The Brutale 1090 is available in Matt Black and Matt White color options.

The aptly named naked motorcycle is powered by a 1,078 cc inline 4-cylinder 16-v engine which packs in an impressive 144 bhp and 112 Nm of torque. The Brutale 1090 is capable hitting a top speed of 265 kmph. Tipping the scales at 183 kg, the Italian street fighter has a fuel tank capacity of 23 litres.

The upmarket motorcycle is suspended by 50 mm USD front fork from Marzocchi with external rebound, compression damping and spring preload adjusters, and a monoshock at the rear by Sachs with rebound damping and spring preload adjusters. Braking is courtesy of 320 mm twin front discs from Brembo and a single Nissin 210 mm unit at the rear. The system is governed by Bosch 9 Plus ABS with rear lift-up mitigation.
