MotoRoyale has launched the new MV Agusta F3 800 RC in India. Priced at Rs.21.99 lakhs, ex-sh it is Rs. 4 lakhs over the standard F3 800 and comes in with a ‘Racing Kit’ at no extra cost. This kit includes an SC Project Exhaust and special ECU along with lightweight parts.
The race track centric MV Agusta F3 800 RC is limited to just 6 units in India. It receives some cosmetic updates as compared to those seen on its outgoing model while engine specifications remain unaltered.
These feature updates include halogen headlamps and LED tail lamps along with a digital instrument console and electronically assisted gear shift. Electronics also include ride by wire, four rider modes, 8 level traction control and Bosch ABS with Race Mode and Rear wheel Lift Up Mitigation.
MV Agusta F3 800 RC sits on 17” alloy wheels fitted with Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa tyres measuring 120/70 section at the front and 180/55 at the rear.
The MV Agusta F3 800 RC is powered by a 798cc liquid cooled, 4 Stroke, DOHC engine capable of 148PS power at 13,000rpm and 88Nm peak torque at 10,600rpm. The engine is mated to a 6 speed gearbox and promises a top speed of 240kmph.
The fully faired bike gets disc brakes at the front and rear with dual channel ABS and an 8 level traction control. It is based on an ALS steel tubular chassis with Progressive single shock absorber at the rear and Marzocchi upside down telescopic fork on the front.
The Racing Kit that is offered free of charge to buyers of the MV Agusta F3 800 RC, consists of an SC Project Titanium, and Carbon Fiber Exhaust, ECU with special mapping and traction controls. It also comprises of light weight parts with a fiberglass pillion cowl, aluminum rear sets, brakes and clutch levers bringing down weight from 173 kgs to 165 kgs.
