The Korean car manufacturer’s new Tennis Australia deal will see the automaker be major sponsor of the Grand Slam for 17 years. F1 in Schools India concluded their Zone 1 championships between January 9th to January 11th 2013. The challenge was held across New Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal. The Challenge saw participating teams commissioned to construct, design, and race the F1 car of the future powered by compressed air cylinders. Teams comprise of 6 members, and cars are manufactured in Make Centres based on 3D CAM software. The two team categories are Junior for Classes 7, 8 and 9, and intermediate for Classes 10, 11 and 12.
