nanoFlowcell Quantino – 2016 Geneva Motor Show LIVE

Those headed to 2016 Geneva Motor Show will find the Quantino electric sports car at the nanoFlowcell AG exhibition booth in Hall 1.

Armed with a license for road use in Europe, nanoFlowcell Quantino electric sports car with Flowcell technology was put through a 14 hour endurance test with no refueling under the guidance of Chief Technology Officer, Nunzio La Vecchia. The non-stop drive gathered data to evaluate nanoFlowcell system’s suitability for daily use. System integrity under continuous load was checked. The drive extensively used urban cycle mode at speeds of up to 74 kmph.

The company says that its Flowcell technology is a rear long term alternative to the conventional electric vehicles.

Quantino electric sports car with Flowcell technology looks to tap into environmentally friendly energy with a power range that surpasses the most efficient electric vehicles today. This is facilitated through its ultra-efficient nanoFlowcell powertrain and use of electrolyte fluids to generate electricity with no harmful emissions.

Vecchia says the car could have gone further but he couldn’t. The road test helped prove Quantino electric sports car’s performance potential in everyday situations after having been tested in laboratory conditions extensively. He opines the latest development demonstrates nanoFlowcell technology as a concrete, long-term alternative to meet demand for alternative fuels. nanoFlowcell AG paves the way for clean and safe future mobility.

The car is capable of a top speed of 200 kmph.

The low-voltage nanoFlowCell Quantino electric sports car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62.5 mph) in under 5 seconds, and has a maximum speed of 200 kmph (approx. 125 mph). Driving pleasure is incomparable in the company’s words.
