With just 20 units allocated to Indian markets, the 2018 Aston Martin Vantage is priced at Rs 2.95 crores. This amount is the base price with buyer specifications and taxes set to escalate price to around the Rs 3.3 crore mark. Bookings have opened and deliveries are scheduled to commence from December 2018.
2018 Aston Martin Vantage is an entry level sports car. It was officially launched in India at a special event held at Infiniti cars outlet in Mumbai. There are many firsts seen on the new Vantage sports car.
It is built on the Aston Martin next gen platform that consists of 70% bespoke components. It gets a ‘Bonded Aluminum’ underframe and is the first car from Aston Martin to be fitted with an electronic rear differential.
It is seen with a wide mesh signature grille, long hood and deep body creases in the front. Its rear end is seen with LED strip of tail lamp running across while a large splitter dominates its rear bumper to guide airflow underneath the body. The interior design of the new Aston Martin Vantage matches its aggressive exteriors with power adjustable Alcantara bucket seats each with a Vantage badge embroidered on its back rest.
It sports a central infotainment display screen, automatic climate control and a set of toggle switches and press buttons. The instrument cluster is a TFT screen with three dials. Boot space is at 350 liters, while if that is not sufficient, there is also a two tier storage space behind the front seats.
Engine specifications on the 2018 Aston Martin Vantage includes a 4.0 liter, twin turbo V8 petrol engine offering 510 PS peak power at 6,000 rpm and 685 Nm torque at 2,000-5,000 rpm mated to an 8 speed gearbox sending power to rear wheels. Acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph is achieved in 3.5 seconds while top speed stands at 314 kmph.
