New Bajaj Discover 125 with front disc brake launch price Rs 48,619 (ex-sh Maharashtra)


Bajaj Discover 125 delivers best in class power, pickup and drivability and will play a major role in enhancing company’s market share. The 125cc Bajaj Auto Discover comes in with a price tag of Rs 46,699 (ex-showroom Maharashtra) , and Disc Version at a price of Rs 48,619 (ex-showroom Maharashtra).

The new Bajaj Auto Discover with its sharp stance and headlights, and all round comfort comes in with a 125 cc 4 valve, twin spark, DTSi engine offering a total of 11.5 ps peak power and 10.8 Nm Torque witg mileage of 76 kmpl (as per CMVR norms).

New_Bajaj_Discover_125New Discover is being offered in six color options of Electron Blue, Wine Red, Charcoal Magenta, Charcoal Green, Silver Blue, and Silver Gold and is equipped with racing inspired petal disc brakes, fashionable alloy wheels and Nitrox suspension.

Pitted against Honda CB Shine, Hero Glamour and Hero Passion Pro in domestic markets, Bajaj Auto hopes to expand its current market share of 22% with this new offering. Last month saw Bajaj Auto post a decline of 6% in domestic sales during which time the company sold a total of 273,323 units as against 291,297 units in February 2013.

Commenting on the launch K Srinivas, President – Motorcycle Business, said, “Many consumersare tired of the regular commuter bikes which offer only around 8 Ps Power. They would ideally wish to upgrade to sportier, attractive bikes with superior technology and features. However barriers such as price and mileage deter them to move on to the 125cc segment. The all new Discover 125 offers equivalent mileage of a 100cc and comes with exciting performance and features all at an attractive price. We want the Indian commuter to live life to the fullest and “Jiyo Dana-Dan.”

It will be available in six colours – Electron Blue, Wine Red, Charcoal Magenta, Charcoal Green, Silver Blue, Silver Gold.
