The first ride review has been posted by a YouTube channel Dino’s Vault, drawing attention to the braking performance of the new 220F with the ABS.
Sporting single channel ABS with anti stopping system called rear lift off protection, the Bajaj Pulsar 220F was subjected to heavy braking in the video, and it was found that the bike now delivers a better braking performance.
The 220F also receives updated styling, as compared to its outgoing model. It gets revised instrument console and side panel with faux carbon fiber textured stickers. While body graphics and an engine cowl enhance its sporty appeal. It also receives an ABS light to its indicators under the digital display.
Apart from these additions, other features are similar to that seen on its earlier counterpart. It continues to sport a tall windscreen, semi fairing and four color options of chrome black, laser black (red decals), dyno red (grey decals) and nuclear blue (grey decals). Suspension is via telescopic forks in the front and gas charged dual shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is through disc brakes at both ends and single channel ABS in front.
