The latest Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 TVC is out and like all the Pulsar commercials (except the one featuring the NS 200 inside a theme park) it delights the loyalists with less dramatized stunts. The ad involves red and yellow motorcycles which successfully outrun trails of blazes.
The video highlights the fastest Bajaj’s quick acceleration and good handling characteristics. It also serves as a good demonstration for the motorcycle’s ability to perform stunts like burnouts, wheelies and donuts.
The company’s first fully faired motorcycle has been a huge success both in domestic as well as international markets, so much so that the production of naked Pulsar 200 NS has to be halted temporarily to plug the RS 200’s demand supply gap.
The flagship Bajaj motorcycle is powered by the same 199.5 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled triple spark engine that powers its street fighter sibling but benefits from an electronic fuel injection system. The power and torque figures stand at 24.5 PS and 18.6 Nm of torque. Transmission is a 6-speed unit.
Launched initially in two shades (yellow and red), the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 is also available in a Fear The Black edition now. A dealership in Mumbai has been offering custom paint schemes for the compact sportsbike.
