New Ford Focus Zetec S with sport appeal launches in 4 engine variants
The new Ford Focus Zetec S has been developed for the UK market, and stands to be the sportiest of them all at present. The Zetec S combines sporty styling and is powered by a 1.6-liter 180PS EcoBoost petrol engine and uses fuel-saving ECOnetic technologies. Other features include a 17in alloy wheels, full body styling kit, rear LED tail lamps, lower sill extensions, sports suspension, front and rear spoilers, Ford Power starter button, and aluminum-style sports pedals. It comes for a on road price of £18,745.
Ford Britain marketing director, Anthony Ireson had this to say. “Zetec S models have always been popular with UK customers and so we are delighted to welcome our new Focus Zetec S to the range. With sporty exterior body styling and impressive performance and economy, this latest addition is set to be another showroom hit.”
Ford Focus Zetec S with its five-door bodystyle and there’s a choice of four engines. The 1.6-liter 180PS EcoBoost turbo-charged petrol engine has a top speed of 138mph, and goes from 0-62 mph in just 7.9 seconds, and emissions stand at 139g/km CO2. The new Ford Focus Zetec S chosen 1.6-liter 180PS EcoBoost turbo-charged petrol engine and the 1.6-liter 115PS TDCi comes with an ECOnetic Technology badge. They are use the Ford ECO mode, auto start-stop, gear shift indicator, smart regenerative charging, and active grille shutter.
The 1.6-liter 125PS Ti-VCT petrol and 2.0-liter 163PS TDCi and could either be a manual or PowerShift automatic transmission. The Zetec S sedan, and Titanium bear the same price tag ensuring that buyers can get their sport or luxury variant at the same cost. For an additional cost, one can choose the technology-laden Driver Assistance Pack, heated front seats, cruise control with Active Speed Limiter and a Zetec S interior pack that features Inferno Red partial leather, power rear windows, power driver seat, and global closing.
