The 110 cc version of Honda Activa will henceforth be known as Activa 3G, as its third generation model is launched today. New 3G version has almost the same exteriors, except for minor detailing (sporty cutouts) and highlights to remind customers that this is a new version. If that doesn’t help, new 3D emblem on side body finished in chrome will do the job.
Same 110 cc engine 4-stroke single cylinder engine giving out max power of 8 PS and peak torque of 8.74 Nm, mated to Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), is used without any apparent enhancements other than standard Honda Eco Technology (HET) treatment to its components that was already applied to earlier model. Mileage claim also remains at 60 kmpl with an asterisk on top. The company has listed features of new Honda Activa 3G as longer and wider seat, comfortable sitting position and ample foot-space among others like full metal body, Combined Braking System (CBS), tubeless tyres, and key lock shutter, which have been available on Activa nameplate for a long time.
Only other notable new introduction in Honda Activa 3G is new colour options including Trance Blue Metallic and Lusty Red Metallic, among older shades of Geny Grey Metallic, Pearl Amazing White and Black.
