New generation Honda Amaze is almost here. Ahead of launch next month, we are test driving the car in Bangalore. Before the full review of Honda Amaze, we bring you the detailed tech specs and mileage of 2018 Amaze.
To start with, the entry level sedan will be offered in a choice of four trims, just like other Honda cars. These are E, S, V and VX (topend). Engine options on offer are petrol 1.2 liter and diesel 1.5 liter. These are the same options which were on offer with the old Amaze.
Transmission options on offer are manual as well as CVT. Both petrol and diesel variants of Amaze will get both manual 5 speed as well as CVT on offer. Manual option will be on offer on all variants, while the CVT will only be offered with S and V grades. Below is how the dimensions of the car stand.
Speaking about engine, power and mileage, the petrol 1.2 liter dishes out 90 PS at 6000 rpm and 110 Nm at 4800 rpm. These are the same output figures on board the MT as well as CVT. Mileage claimed as per ARAI is 19.5 kmpl for MT and 19 kmpl for CVT.
Diesel engine on the other hand, is offered in two different tunes. MT variant gets a more powerful tune – 100 PS / 200 PS, while the CVT variant gets a lesser powerful tune – 80 PS / 160 Nm. Mileage claimed by MT Amaze is 27.4 kmpl while CVT diesel claims 23.8 kmpl.
