New Honda Brio hatchback launch variants with Driver Seat Height Adjuster and Rear Windshield Defogger6 new Honda Brio hatchback variants with added features have been introduced. They are EMT, EXMT, SMT, VMT, VXMT and VXAT and have novel features as per customer’s feedback received. These added features will not only ensure that the vehicle is more convenient and comfortable but also at the same time offer a more gratifying ride to customers. Upgrades will come in the form of Driver Seat Height Adjuster along with Rear Windshield Defogger. These were the two main features which customer’s feedback dictated and which the company found feasible to incorporate in the new range of variants to enhance safety.

Besides its outstanding features and easy maneuverability even on congested road conditions, the Brio displays outstanding fuel efficiency at 19.4 kmpl where its manual transmission is concerned and 16.5 kmpl for its automatic transmission. The vehicle is made even more attractive due to a special ‘Honda Care Maintenance Package” wherein the company offers free periodic maintenance upto 40,000 kms or 2 years whichever comes first. This package is available for INR 9,996.

The cost effective premium hatchback has a turning radius of 4.5m for Brio MT and 4.7m for Brio AT making it an easy car to drive and manoeuvre in city traffic. Honda Brio was awarded 1st arnk in the JD Power Initial Quality Study 2012 in the Premium Compact segment and 44,296 units have been sold since it’s launch in September 2011. AT was introduced in October 2012. Prices of the 6 new variants are as follows: EMT – Rs 4,12,000, EXMT – 4,28,000, SMT – 4,60,500, VMT 5,06,000, VXMT – 5,34,500 and VXAT – 6,12,500. It is a great time to strengthen the Brio platform as India quite loves it. The added choice will help the company keep buyers interested. The Honda Amaze compact sedan launch last month has garnered increased bookings, and now commands a waiting period of above 4 months. The vehicle is based on the successful Brio Platform.

Jnaneswar Sen, Senior Vice President, Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd said, “Brio is a significant model for Honda in India as the car added more than 32,000 happy customers in the last fiscal year.
