The bike is expected to go on sale in India sometime later this year.

Iwanbanran.com has a comprehensive photo gallery of the new Honda CBR150R that went on sale in Indonesia on the Valentine’s day. The latest iteration of the fully faired compact sportsbike has nothing in common with its predecessor.

The new CBR150R offers a good platform for budding riders to hone their skills before progressing to bigger and more powerful sportsbikes. With a razor sharp styling, upmarket features and peppy engine, the latest Honda issues a serious threat to the Yamaha R15 V2.0.

The motorcycle is powered by a 150 cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine which is claimed to have undergone some improvements. Mated to a 6-speed gearbox, the motor is good for a peak power of 18.28 bhp and 12.66 Nm of torque.

Salient features include LED headlamps, fully digital instrument console, new tailpiece with elevated pillion seat, LED taillights, front and rear disc brakes (one each), and LED turn indicators. The diamond type chassis, front telescopic fork and rear monoshock have been carried over from the previous gen motorcycle.
