Honda Motors will be previewing their new CR-V, CR-Z and a new 1.6 liter diesel engined Civic as the Paris Motor Show commences from September 29th to October 14th 2012. Where the 2013 CR-Z is concerned, Japanese automakers Honda Motors have announced that there will be some major changes in its interiors. It will be fitted with the same 1.5 liter i-VTEC gasoline engine while its electric motor will have a combined output of 122 bhp and CO2 emissions at 117g/km.
Civic will be fitted with a 1.6 liter i-DTEC diesel engine with Earth Dreams Technology. This will 118 hp engine will be capable of 78.5mpg and CO2 emissions of 94g/km. CR-V will be offered in both two and four wheel drive which sees great enhancements both in its petrol and diesel engines which contribute to lower CO2 emissions.
This year is the 40th anniversary of Honda Civic since it was introduced for the first time in 1972. Sales have been phenomenal with numbers reaching way past the 20 million mark. A special display of the original first generation Civic will be on display at the Paris Motor Show rubbing shoulders with the present generation Civic.
