Design elements on the exterior of the Honda CRV sport some changes. These include a wider front end, a new front grille flanked by sleek headlamps and a chrome bar running across. It gets massive wheel arches with new machine finished alloy wheels, prominent body cladding and L shaped tail lamps at the rear along with an extended windshield.

Interiors have also been revamped for the 5th Generation Honda CRV with leather upholstery, larger driver and passenger seats, a multi layered dashboard and wood paneling on doors. It sports a large touchscreen infotainment system, 8 way adjustable driver’s seat, dual zone climate control and cruise control. Instead of conventional gear lever, it has a push-button operated gearbox.

The 5th generation Honda CRV for India is powered by a 1.6 liter i-DTEC diesel engine offering 120 hp power and 300 Nm torque. It also gets a 2.0 liter, four cylinder petrol engine offering 154 hp power and 192 Nm. Transmission is via state of the art 9 speed automatic gearbox from ZF.
