Honda has commenced sales of the new Jazz Cross Style in Japan. This is basically a Honda Jazz with an accessory package that gives it distinctive crossover styling and it also closely resembles the old Jazz Twist that was discontinued around 3 years ago.

Honda Jazz Cross Style exteriors are seen with lower bumper garnishes at the front and rear, LED headlights, fog lamps, a new tailgate decal and body side moulding. It also receives wheel arch cladding, door trims, dark grey side sill accents and 15” Modulo wheels.

All these accessories which are a part of the Cross Style exterior package are priced at JPY 1,38,240 (INR 7.9 lakh) while the Modulo alloy wheels are available separately.

Standard equipment includes leather wrapped steering wheel, driver and passenger heated seats and a multimedia system supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. In terms of safety features, 2018 Honda Jazz Cross Style is equipped with adaptive cruise control, emergency braking system, traffic signal detection and track exit warning.

It is also offered with engine options among which are petrol engines that include a 1.3 liter i-VTEC engine offering 100 hp peak power and a 1.5 liter i-VTEC capable of 132 hp power and 1.5 liter i-VTEC+i-DCD petrol electric delivering 110 PS power and 134 Nm torque.

Even as the Honda Jazz Cross Style has been launched in Japan, the Cross Style package for other markets has not yet been announced. This makes it uncertain whether it will be launched in India or not.
