2018 Honda Jazz facelift has been launched in India today. It is offered in both petrol and diesel engine options. Honda Jazz petrol will be sold in V and VX variants while Jazz diesel will be offered in S, V and VX trims.
2018 Honda Jazz sees no exterior changes. Earlier colour options of Radiant Red and Lunar Silver Metallic have been replaced with exteriors in Carnelian Red Pearl and Alabaster Silver Metallic.
Speaking on the introduction of the Jazz 2018, Mr. Rajesh Goel, Sr. Vice President and Director, Sales & Marketing, Honda Cars India Ltd. said, “We are extremely delighted to introduce the New Honda Jazz 2018 with enhanced features. The new Jazz offers amazing value and will surely create fresh excitement in premium hatchback segment.” “In line with changing customer preferences in favour of automatics, the Jazz 2018 is now being offered with advanced CVT technology across the petrol range to cater to larger number of customers opting for automatic transmission cars for an absolutely comfortable and engaging drive,” he added.
Honda Jazz S is offered with dual front airbags, steering mounted control, audio system with 4 speakers, front central arm rest, speed sensing door locks, rear parking sensors, rear defogger, electrically adjustable wing mirrors, driver and co-driver vanity mirrors and LED tail lamps. ABS and EBD will be offered as standard.
Honda Jazz V petrol and diesel variants feature Honda Smart Key System, push button start, power boot release, cruise control, automatic climate control, audio system with 5.0″ touchscreen, reverse camera display, electrically adjustable folding wing mirrors, front fog lamps and rear wiper. Honda Jazz VX is fitted with a 7.0″ touchscreen system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, extended LED tail lamps and leather wrapped steering wheel and gear knobs.
2019 Honda Jazz gets power from a 1.2 litre i-VTEC petrol engine offering 90 PS power and 110 Nm torque mated to a 5 speed MT or CVT. The 1.5 litre i-DTEC diesel engine capable of 100 PS power and 200 Nm torque will be mated to a 6 speed MT.
