2017 Kawasaki Ninja Z650 launched in India – Price, Specs, Details
All-new Kawasaki Ninja Z650 has been launched in India. Price starts from INR 5.19 lakh, ex-showroom.
2017 Kawasaki Ninja Z650 gets distinctive headlamps, a green colour framework with contrasting black body colour. When shown at EICMA at the end of 2016, the bike was fitted with a new tubular frame made of lightweight material, which reduces kerb weight by 18 kgs as compared to its earlier counterpart.
New headlamp and tank design alongwith more comfortable seating and well positioned handlebars are highlights on the Z650. Price of the new Ninja Z650 starts from INR 5.19 lakh, ex-showroom.

2017 Ninja Z650 is powered by a 649cc, 6 gear, twin cylinder engine tuned to offer 67.2 bhp peak power and 65.7 Nm peak torque. Engine is mated to a 6 speed transmission. This engine is also now Euro IV (Bharat Stage (BS)-IV) compliant and braking mechanics are enhanced with Nissin and Bosch 91 ABS.
Z650 gets 41mm telescopic forks in front and preload adjustment mono shock at the rear. Braking functions are via dual semi floating 300mm petal disc in the front and single 220mm petal discs at the rear with ABS.

2017 Kawasaki Ninja Z650 measures 2,055mm in length, 740mm in width and 1,135mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 1,410mm and ground clearance of 130mm. Seat height stands at 790mm and kerb weight at 193 kgs. Tank dimensions are also tweaked in the 2017 variant.
2017 Kawasaki Ninja Z650 will compete against CBR650F, Hyosung GT650R and Benelli TNT600i in the Indian market.
