KTM RC 390 bolt-on Racing kit for Rs 20,000 – Fine tuned by Sarge

Pune based Autologue Design has given the KTM RC390 a makeover, which will be appreciated by those into track racing. The design firm has fitted the RC390 with a track focused race kit called RCX2. Autologue Design has worked along with ace racer Sagar Sheldekar, aka Sarge.

The exclusive bolt-on KTM RC390 kit includes front fairing with a large bubble visor, headlamp covers, side panels and a sleek tail segment. The bike is also seen with shorter engine belly cover, roomier seats and aerodynamic fairing offering reduced wind drag. Buyers can either select the entire kit or opt for individual parts according to their requirements.

Autologue Design has priced the RCX2 race kit at Rs 20,000 for pre orders while following the pre-order period, the same kit will be available for Rs 25,000. This is the second kit offered by the company following the KTM RCX kit also for the RC 390. The RCX2 race kit includes only cosmetic updates and race inspired kit while no changes are made to mechanics.

Speaking about the special racing kit, Pune’s Autologue Design has thoroughly tested the kit on a racing track. And riding the bike on test was Sarge, who was a former test rider and host at Powerdrift. As per Autologue, this kit is perfect those KTM RC 390 owners who like to race their bikes on a race track. Not only the improved aerodynamics help in achieving higher top speed, you can also lean better thanks to the custom engine belly.

Stock KTM RC390, priced at Rs 2.6 lakhs, sports upside down forks in the front and preload adjustable monoshock at the rear. It sits on 17” alloy wheels fitted with high performance Metzeler Sportec M5 tyres.

The bike also receives cast aluminum swing arm, a digital instrument cluster and projector headlamps. It gets its power via a 373.3cc, single cylinder, 4 valve, liquid cooled, fuel injected engine offering 43 bhp power at 9,000 rpm and 36 Nm torque at 7,000 rpm mated to a 6 speed transmission.
