Land Rover India dealers are giving discounts and benefits of up to Rs 11 lakhs on brand new Discovery Sport SUV. This offer also includes newly announced 30 percent depreciation, zero down payment and a host of customized EMI options.
These discount schemes come in at a time when the entire auto industry is in deep despair. Sales are at their all time low, and even luxury automakers are feeling the heat of reduced sales.

2019 Land Rover Discovery Sport is powered by a 2.0 liter, 4 cylinder, Ingenium diesel engine offering 177 bhp and 430 Nm of peak torque on the SE and HSE variants while on the Pure variant power stands at 147 bhp. It also gets a 2.0 liter Ingenium petrol engine on the SE and HSE variants offering 237 bhp power while both engine options get mated to a 9 speed automatic transmission. All are BS4 engines.

Speaking about the 2020 Discovery Sport, it has received a complete makeover in terms of its exterior and interior makeup with each body panel, with the exception of the bonnet, roof and tailgate replaced. It is positioned on the brand’s new C-SUV architecture which it shares with the new Range Rover Evoque. It is constructed on the Land Rover Premium Transverse Architecture which ensures better refinement and is 13 percent stiffer with rigid sub-frames and commands reduced NVH levels.
2020 Discovery Sport continues in its 5+2 seater arrangement and interiors see a major improvement over its predecessors. It will be making its way to India along with the Evoque later this year and the Discovery Sport could command a premium of Rs.5-7 lakhs over the outgoing model so prices can be expected between Rs.50-70 lakhs. It will come with BS6 compliant engines. It continues its rivalry against the BMW X3, Audi Q5 and Mercedes-Benz GLC.
