Lexus has introduced a new Exquisite grade to the RX 350h line-up, available in two variants. The RX 350h Exquisite with Lexus Audio is priced at Rs 89.99 lakh. In comparison, the RX 350h Exquisite with Mark Levinson Audio is priced at Rs 92.02 lakh. The range topping RX 500h F-sport+, is also equipped with Mark Levinson Audio. Let’s take a closer look at the new Exquisite variant of Lexus RX 350h.
Lexus RX 350h Exquisite grade – Performance
The new Exquisite grade of Lexus RX 350h replaces the earlier Luxury trim. The SUV gets power from a hybrid setup, comprising a petrol engine and two electric motors. The 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder, in-line Twin Cam 16-valve unit generates 186 PS and 238 Nm of torque. There are two electric motors, a larger unit mounted at the front and a smaller one mounted at the rear.

Power output is 134 kW (182 PS) and 40 kW (54 PS) with the front and rear motors, respectively. Torque output is 270 Nm and 121 Nm, respectively. Combined power output is 181 kW (246 PS). Lexus RX 350h can achieve a top speed of 200 km/h. The SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds. The SUV utilizes a high-power bipolar nickel-metal hydride battery (Ni-MH), considered highly safe, reliable and long-lasting.
For a more thrilling driving experience, the top-spec RX 500h F-sport+ is a better choice. This variant is powered by a 2.4-litre turbo petrol engine, generating 272 PS and 460 Nm of torque. It has a top speed of 210 km/h and can achieve 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.2 seconds. The electric motors deliver a combined power output of 273 kW (371 PS). The RX 500h F-sport+ is available at a starting price of Rs 1,09,46,000.

Design and features
With its quirky design, the Lexus RX 350h Exquisite grade easily gets your attention. Key features include 3-projector Bi-Beam LED headlamps with auto-levelling system, headlamp cleaners, sharp LED DRLs, a prominent grille, smooth body panelling and large 21-inch aluminium wheels. The midsize luxury SUV has body-coloured door handles, chrome accents, distinctive tail lamps in connected format, a sloping roofline and a multi-layered rear bumper.
Inside, key features include a panoramic roof, TFT multi-information display, colour head-up display, wireless charger, multi-colour ambient lighting, 3-zone climate control and an air filter. For accessing features like leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear shift knob, aluminium pedals and footrest, and scuff plates, buyers can choose the top-spec F-sport+ trim.

Equipment list for RX 350h Exquisite grade includes a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Lexus navigation system, 10-way power front seats with 4-way power lumbar support, power folding rear seats, and heating and ventilation functions for the seats. A comprehensive range of connectivity features are available with Lexus RX 350h Exquisite grade.
Enhanced safety
Lexus RX SUVs offer robust safety with features such as pre-collision system (PCS), dynamic radar cruise control, blind spot monitor, lane tracing assist and safe exit assist. Other safety features include electric parking brake with brake hold, hill-start assist control, panoramic view monitor, traction control system and vehicle stability control.

With more options in the RX line-up, a sales boost can be expected. The RX model has already registered 12% growth this year (January to November).
