New Mahindra Scorpio 140hp, 6 MT launched – Price Rs 13.07 lakh (Most Powerful Scorpio Ever)

After months of testing, Mahindra today announced the launch of updated Scorpio. The top-end variants come with a more powerful version of 2.2 liter mHawk 140 hp engine while the entry leverl variants get the same 120 hp engine tune. The 140 hp mHawk engine is mated to a new 6-speed transmission for improved driving dynamics, and 6th generation Borg Warner Turbo Charger. Improved low-end torque adds comfort to city driving. Wide mid-range torque ups the response on highways.

2017 Mahindra Scorpio facelift is seen with a new 7 slot front chrome grille that borrows inspiration from the Jeep Compass. It gets fog lamps with chrome accents, silver scuff plate and a new tailgate design with parking sensors and new tail lamps. The Scorpio facelift sits on new 5 spoke alloy wheels and gets ORVM turn indicators. There are no changes in dimensions and the new Scorpio continues to measure 4,456 mm long, 1,820 mm wide, 1,995 mm high and sport a wheelbase of 2,680 mm. The tailgate adapts a chrome applique, and red lens LED tail lamps.

2017 Mahindra Scorpio facelift will also be seen in a new S7 variant. Its interiors boast of added driver and passenger comforts and an updated infotainment system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also gets connected apps such as Ecosense App and a redesigned dashboard. NVH refinement makes for a quieter cabin experience.
