New Grille

Highlighting the new XUV500’s design in the front is the bold new grille. Though not appreciated by many, the design grows on you once you take a look at it in person. The design surely offers the car a premium and bold stance.

New 18 inch diamond cut alloys

On offer with the new Mahindra XUV500 are all new 18 inch diamond cut alloys, wrapped in 235/60 tubeless tyres.

New Tail Lamps

Arguably the biggest change, as far as the exterior of the car is concerned, the triangle shaped headlamps make the new XUV500 look a bit wider than before.

Quilted Leather Seats

This is the biggest update on the inside. Mahindra calls it their 5 Star inspired seats. The new seats are plusher and more comfortable than before for sure.

Soft Touch Leather Dashboard and Door

This is another addition on the inside which makes the travelling experience even more premium. The dashboard touch does feel that of a really premium car.

Smartwatch Connectivity

This is a segment first feature. Mahindra has managed to connect their Bluesense app to a smartwatch. So, now you can not only get your car’s data on your smartphone, but also on your smartwatch. Arkamys Enhanced Audio System

Improving the in-car audio experience by a huge margin, is the new Arkamys Audio System. Mahindra states that the system is such that it dynamically adjusts the equalizer based on the listening conditions, offering a high quality bass without any subwoofer.

6 Way Power Adjustable Driver Seat

At the touch of a button, you will be able to adjust your seat to your preferred position. Gone are the days of going back and forth to get the right adjustment. In addition to this, making life easier is the telescopic and tilt functionality of the steering wheel.

Electric Sunroof with Anti-Pinch

To make the cabin experience even more premium, the new 2018 Mahindra XUV500 now comes with electric sunroof with anti-pinch technology. What this means is, in case you press the close button of the sunroof, and if by chance someone places their hand in between, the sunroof will not close, and avoid accident.

Logo Projection Lamps on ORVM

This is one fancy feature, which gets activated every time you open the door of your car. Practical, as well as something that will get you noticed.

Infotainment System

Engine

The biggest update on offer with the new Mahindra XUV500 is its more powerful engine. The 2.2 liter mHawk that powers 2018 Mahindra XUV500, now delivers 155 hp and 360 Nm. It is mated to either a manual or automatic transmission. You also have the option to choose from 2WD or AWD drive option.
