Official: New Mercedes Benz E Class 2014 revealed (49 Photos & Video)
2014 Mercedes Benz E Class has been officially revealed. It is seen with new and highly efficient engine lineup or petrol and diesel options, along with better assistance systems and luxury features which will continue to see itself in a leading position in the luxury segment. In diesel E Class, you have 4 cylinders and V6, while in the petrol E Class you also have the V8 along with inline 4 and V6’s.
Mercedes Benz will offer the 2014 E Class in a choice of following diesel engines, E 200 CDI, E 220 CDI, E 250 CDI, E 250 CDI 4MATIC, E 300 BlueTEC, E 350 BlueTEC, E 350 BlueTEC 4MATIC, and E 300 BlueTEC HYBRID. Comfort and safety are the two features most desired in any luxury vehicle and this is exactly what Mercedes Benz has concentrated on, in both Saloon and Estate models of the 2014 Mercedes E Class. A host of safety features which go a long way in prevention of accidents and protect both occupants and pedestrians have been added to the E Class. These include Active Lane Keeping Assist, Anti glare high beam lamps, Collision Prevention Assist, and Attention Assist which warns of drowsiness and fatigue while at the wheel.
Where efficiency is concerned, the 2014 E Class is a class apart. It comes with BlueDIRECT four cylinder petrol engines offering direct injection technology while its new fangled design adds to intrinsic appeal along with a high level of efficiency.
The new E Class is being offered in a sharper design with an elegant and sporty finish making it a leader in the luxury class of vehicles. Where lighting is concerned, the E Class has daytime headlamps fitted with partial LED lights as standard and full LED headlamps are being offered for the first time in this class as an option. It is also for the first time that the E Class is being offered with two different front end designs.
Interiors are of high quality material while another new feature is the two part trim across the dashboard which can be selected in wood or aluminum. There is also a three tube instrument cluster, a trapezoidal shaped high gloss display in the head unit and a new multifunctional steering wheel with direct select levers and shift paddles is also prominent.
