2016 Skoda Superb is styled by Josef Kaban, Design Chief at Skoda Auto. It receives thoroughly revised exterior design, inspired from the Vision C concept.
2016 Skoda Superb is seen sporting a the company’s prominent grille, angular headlights and short front overhangs all of which combine to give it a sporty appeal. Interiors of 2016 Skoda Superb will see quality and functionality. Skoda claims that head and leg room will be at a premium while boot space will stand at over 625 liters to be increased to 1,760 liters with rear seats turned down.
The Virtual Pedal feature will be added, allowing the boot to be opened when driver waves his foot under the rear bumper. Technical features will include an infotainment system via iPad for front and rear passengers which is compatible with Apple CarPlay.
2016 Skoda Superb will be offered in five trim levels. Engine options on the new 2016 Skoda Superb will include a range of petrol and diesel engine options. In all, five petrol engines are on offer in the range of 125 PS to 280 PS, while three diesel engines come with 120 PS to 190 PS range.
The Superb has been an important model in the Skoda lineup ever since the first generation model was launched in 2001. Since then the company has sold over 700,000 units globally and expects the new entrant to exceed this limit in its lifetime.
India launch of the new Superb is confirmed for H2 2016.
