With power from a inline 3-cyl 765 cc engine, the roadster is derived from the Triumph Daytona. Max power is pegged at 123 PS at 11,700 rpm, and max torque at 77Nm at 10,800 rpm. The company reports Triumph Street Triple sales has touched 701 units. Within the brand, Street triple growth is reported at 148 percent YoY (FY17 Vs FY18). This makes the Street Triple the best selling roadster from Triumph in India.

Along with Matt Silver Ice or Phantom Black (Metallic) color options, Triumph Street Triple is now available in Crystal White and Matt Black too.

Triumph Street Triple’s engine has undergone substantial tests in preparation of its 2019 Moto2 track debut.
Earlier in the month, Triumph Motorcycles India announced a recall of 110 units of Street Triple manufactured in 2017 and 2018 to fix a problem related to turn signal and headlight functionality.
