New Tata Nano price remains same with improved fuel efficiency at 25.4 kmpl: Eight new colors introduced
Tata Nano now gives more at the same price. With fuel efficiency at 25.4 kmpl(Automotive Research Association of India- ARAI certified) as compared to the earlier 23.6 kmpl, the Nano small car now has new premium interiors, and comes in vibrant colors. The new Tata Nano small car variants will comes with a 4 year or 60,000 kms warranty, whichever is earlier. The price range is at Rs. 1.40 lakhs for the Nano Standard, Rs. 1.70 lakhs for the Nano CX and Rs.1.96 lakhs for the Nano LX (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Tata Motors makes the Tata Nano available across 676 outlets. Customers can buy the Tata Nano at an extremely low down-payment, starting from Rs.15,000, and high tenure financing (up to 60 months). With no compromise on the air conditioning, the Nano boasts of the lowest CO2 emission in the Indian auto market. Already at stores, the new Nano comes with a more powerful gasoline engine.
The new Nano small car 624cc engine is now more powerful and records a 38PS of power as compared to the earlier 35 PS, and 51Nm of torque as compared to the earlier 48 Nm. A low kerb weight of 600 kg, allows the new Tata Nano record lowest CO2 emission among cars in India at 92.7 gm / km. Top speed is pegged at 105 km and the small car has a turning radius of just 4 meters.
A revised suspension set-up betters ride and handling. There’s also an anti-roll bar at the front, and an easier steering mechanism. Its exhaust sound too has been spruced to bring out a racier sound adding to its road presence. Booster-assisted brakes are now a standard in all variants. While the Nano CX and LX have tip-tap mirrors on driver and passenger sides. For the standard, the passenger side mirror could be installed as an accessory.
The new Tata Nano small car interiors are luxurious beige in the Nano LX, rich black in the Nano CX and medium graphite in the Standard. The color range on exteriors boats of 10 hues. The 8 new colors are Pearl White, Rouge Red, Aqua Blue, Neon Rush, Serene White, Meteor Silver, Mojito Green, Papaya Orange, Sunshine Yellow, and Champagne Gold. Half or full wheel caps are being offered too.
Tata Motors’ Managing Director – India Operations, Mr. P.M. Features for new Tata Nano variants: The Tata Nano Standard is offered in 3 color options. This includes Rouge Red, Aqua Blue, and Serene White. Features include clear headlamps, tip-tap driver side mirror, tubeless tires, front suspension with anti-roll bar and booster-assisted brakes. Interiors reflect dual-tone vinyl seats with a fold-down rear seat.
The Nano CX comes in six colors. This includes Rouge Red, Champagne Gold, Neon Rush, Meteor Silver, Papaya Orange and Serene White. Interiors reflect ebony black interiors, black fabric seats, and a fold-down rear seat with nap rest. Other features include air-conditioning with heating (optional), booster-assisted brakes, parcel shelf, half wheel covers, and tip-tap mirrors on driver and passenger sides.
The Tata Nano LX (top-end variant) features premium beige fabric seats, door handles, central locking, cup holder in front console, front power windows, body colored bumpers, provision for 12V socket, fog lamps, rear spoiler, electronic trip meter, tip-tap mirrors on driver and passenger side, full wheel covers, and booster-assisted brakes. The Tata Nano LX comes in 6 six premium colors. This includes the Pearl White, Papaya Orange, Mojito Green, Sunshine Yellow, Meteor Silver and Champagne Gold.
