After the Nexon, Punch has been Tata Motors’ rockstar where sales are concerned. Punch is among the highest volume generators for Tata Motors and even in India, across all genres. This vehicle has received multiple updates before, but is getting a facelift for the very first time with design inspirations from Punch EV.
The company is launching Punch facelift on 13th January, 2025 and media drives will commence soon after. Ahead of the grand launch, Tata has unveiled 2026 Punch’s trim-level hierarchy (personas) and their notable features. Let’s go through these personas and see which trims get what.
New Tata Punch Variant-Wise Features
For starters, new 2026 Tata Punch facelift will get six primary trim levels (personas). The hierarchy starts with Smart at the base level, followed by Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Accomplished and Accomplished+ S. Tata has revealed key highlights of each trims. Here’s a closer look.
1. Smart
Right from the base Smart trim, Tata is offering new 2026 Punch 6 airbags, Powersight LED headlights, Drive Modes in the form of City and Eco, ESP (Electronic Stability Program), remote keyless entry, intelligent TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) and a corporate steering wheel, among others.
2. Pure
Stepping up from the base Smart trim, we have Pure, which comes with a host of new and extra features over Smart. These includes rear AC vents, which is a boon for Indian conditions, steering mounted audio controls, front centre armrest with integrated storage box, a rear defogger, day & night IRVM (manual adjustment likely), and others.
3. Pure+
Over all equipment offered by Pure, 2026 Punch facelift Pure+ trim level brings more value-added features that buyers are likely to gravitate towards. These include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, reverse camera, cruise control, height adjust for driver’s seat, Type-C fast chargers, and more.
4. Adventure
With Adventure trim and above, we dive into the more premium end of equipment. These include 360 degree cameras, blind view monitor, keyless entry with push-button start, rear wiper and washer, auto climate control, stylized 15-inch alloys with wheel covers, auto headlights, rain-sensing wipers and others.
5. Accomplished
If you opt for Accomplished trim, new 2026 Tata Punch will offer you more premium features. Most notable among them are 16-inch alloys, 10.2-inch touchscreen, LED DRLs, connected LED tail lights, extended thigh support seats and touch-and-toggle climate control panel.
6. Accomplished+ S
The top-spec Accomplished+ S trim level of Punch facelift brings all the bells and whistles Tata is offering with this SUV. Notable of these include voice-assisted sunroof, LED fog lamps with cornering function, 7-inch instrument cluster, wireless charging pad, auto-dimming IRVM, iRA connected car tech and more.
