Toyota Fortuner prices increased – Here is new price list
Toyota Fortuner was first launched in India in 2009. Back in November 2016, new generation Fortuner was launched in India. For the month of February 2017, Fortuner sales have crossed the 2,000 units mark, which is the highest ever monthly sale registered.
Toyota India announced today the price of their flagship SUV has been increased by about INR 20,000. This comes at a time when their sales are at a new peak. New Fortuner has managed its No 1 position in the segment ever since it was launched in 2009.
With the new generation Fortuner now launched in India, the car maker has received an even further boost to sales. Offered in a choice of petrol and diesel engine option, the new Toyota Fortuner waiting period now stands at about 3 months.

Petrol engine option of new Fortuner is on sale for a price of INR 26.81 lakh to INR 28.51 lakh, while the diesel engine variant is on sale for a range of INR 28.41 lakh to INR 32.02 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, New Delhi.
Diesel engine of new Fortuner is in the form of a 2.8 liter mill which generates 177 bhp and 450 Nm, while the petrol engine is in the form of a 2.7 liter engine that generates peak power of 164 hp and 250 Nm torque. Both engines are offered with manual as well as automatic transmission options. Petrol variants are only offered with a RWD system while diesel is also offered with 4×4 drive system.
Based on the new Hilux Revo pickup truck platform, the new Toyota Fortuner is built on a ladder frame chassis. The Fortuner doesn’t shy away from a challenge, thanks to its impressive ground clearance, wheel articulation, 4×4 system with low transfer case, steep approach and departure angles. All this was tested by us at the recently organized off-road Experience Camp.
The 2016 Toyota Fortuner gets upmarket features such as touchscreen infotainment system, improved safety features like 7 airbags, ABS, hill hold, and much more.
