The new Toyota Land Cruiser 200 with a spruced up exterior has been launched in India at INR 1.29 crore (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The updated SUV will pickup a fight against the Range Rover.
The visual changes upfront come in the form of a new three-slat front grille, revised headlamps with LED elements, and a wide secondary air dam slit which houses chrome foglight enclosures. The profile hardly has any changes while the rear fascia receives a reprofiled LED combination lights and a new chrome strip on the tailgate.
The SUV is available in two new exterior color options namely Copper Brown and Dark Blue Mica. The existing colors – Super White, White Pearl Crystal Shine, Silver Metallic, Grey Metallic, Black, Attitude Black, Dark Red Mica Metallic & Beige Mica Metallic – have been retained.
The interior gets revised centre and instrument consoles.On the inside, the dashboard layout has been retained but the instrument and centre consoles are revamped. The centre console houses a new infotainment display and control button. In addition to the existing black color theme, the new Land Cruiser 200 also offers Brown and Flaxen themes on the inside.
Powering the flagship luxury SUV is the same 4.5-litre V8 diesel engine which is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission and a 4×4 system. The powerhouse benefits from new injectors and revised ECU to output 268 PS (7 PS more than previous version).
Noteworthy equipment include heated steering wheel, LED illuminated entry system, Enhanced Multi Terrain Monitor Cameras, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System and so on.
