Featuring a host of segment first features, the new Toyota Yaris has officially opened its innings in India. Priced from Rs 8.75 lakh, ex-showroom, for the base petrol variant, the price goes on till Rs 14.07 lakh, ex-showroom.
With only petrol engine option on offer, the price seems a bit on the higher side. But, Toyota says that the car comes with 7 airbags as standard, and unmatched safety features, many of which are segment firsts.

We have driven the car and agree to what Toyota is saying. The new Yaris definitely feels safe, and has a good built quality. With aims of selling about 25,000 units annually, Toyota sure knows who their target customer is.
