Featuring a host of segment first features, the new Toyota Yaris has officially opened its innings in India. Priced from Rs 8.75 lakh, ex-showroom, for the base petrol variant, the price goes on till Rs 14.07 lakh, ex-showroom.
With only petrol engine option on offer, the price seems a bit on the higher side. But, Toyota says that the car comes with 7 airbags as standard, and unmatched safety features, many of which are segment firsts.
