2016 TVS Apache 200 is based on TVS Draken X21 concept which was displayed at the 2014 Auto Expo. Slated to be powered by a new 200 cc single cylinder air cooled engine producing around 25 PS peak power and 20 Nm peak torque, the engine will be mated to a 6 speed transmission.
The Apache on test was also noted to borrow on board styling from the Draken as will be seen on its fuel tank, alloy wheels and seat structure. While other features are borrowed from the existing Apache.
From the spy shots which were revealed yesterday, it is confirmed that the new TVS Apache 200 will receive a fully digital instrument cluster with rev counts, ODO readings, trip reading, fuel indicators, gear indicators and time. Highlights include meatier tubless tyres, new black alloys, clip on raised handle bars, petal disc brakes, ABS as option, and raised pillion seat.
