The new TVS Victor commuter motorcycle has been teased on the new official microsite ahead its launch tomorrow. The next gen Victor will be accompanied by the eagerly awaited Apache RTR 200 4V naked sportsbike.
As of now, details of the new Victor are pretty sketchy. It is most likely to use one of TVS’ existing 110 cc and 125 cc commuter-spec engines, mated to a 4-speed transmission. The teaser image shows a centre cowl carrying 3D Victor logo and sporty decals. The image also offers partial view of the seat which gets red contrast stitching, a red finished rear coil spring shock absorber and a part of the chassis.
The upmarket elements indicate that the new TVS Victor will cater to the executive sub-segment. We can expect the motorcycle to come equipped with bikini fairing with pilot lamps, black finished engine components, alloy wheels, optional front disc brake and a chrome finished muffler guard.
The new Victor will be complementing the company’s range of affordable and executive commuters under the Star City and Phoenix 125 brands. Competition would come from the likes of the Mahindra Centuro, Honda Livo, Yamaha Saluto, etc.
With the double launch, TVS is planning to boost its market share in two fast growing segments in the Indian two wheeler market.
