Volkswagen India unveiled the new Vento facelift officially at their plant in Chakan, near Pune last month. This was just an unveil, so no price was revealed. Price will be revealed once the car is launched later today in Delhi.
2015 Volkswagen Vento facelift exteriors will boast of a new three slat chrome front grille, twin barrel headlamp and new fog lamps. It will also be seen with a new bonnet design and new tail lamps while front and rear bumpers will also sport new design. New Vento facelift will sit on new alloy wheels and get reflectors at the rear while interiors will boast of a new colour scheme, flat bottom steering wheel (for sporty hold) and silver surrounds on centre console.
Better layout, an updated stereo system and revised instrument cluster are the highlights on the inside of new Vento.
No changes in engine specifications, as 2015 VW Vento facelift continues to be powered by a 1.5 liter diesel TDI engine offering 105 PS power and 250 Nm torque mated to a 5 speed manual or 7 speed DSG. It also receives a 1.2 liter TSI petrol engine capable of 105 PS power and 175 Nm torque mated to a 7 speed DSG and a 1.6 MPI petrol engine offering 105 PS power and 153 Nm torque mated to a 5 speed manual transmission.
2015 Volkswagen Vento facelift will compete with the likes of Honda City, Maruti Ciaz and Hyundai Verna 4S. It will receive a marginal hike in price as well.
