The next gen Chevrolet Cruze is one of the five new products that the GM India has announced for the next 24 months. The latest iteration which is already on sale in international markets has an entirely different appeal compared to the existing model.

In an attempt to buy time till the new model is ready for India, GM recently updated the old car with added features.

The new Cruze is lighter than the outgoing model by up to 113 kg.

The next gen Cruze is is based on an all-new platform which achieves weight saving of up to 113 kg, so it’s safe to expect drastic improvement in performance, dynamics and efficiency. The new entry level D-Segment sedan is also longer (both in terms of overall length and wheelbase) and roomier.

Styling adopts a new philosophy and is more aerodynamic than its predecessor. There are a few subtle hints of the Camaro in the design elements. Upmarket interior features a simple dashboard which is loaded with Apple CarPlay and Andriod Auto enabled touchscreen infotainment system.

Other feature highlights include multiple airbags, ABS, EBD, ESP, traction control and an array of safety assistance systems.
