Irfan Pathan and a morning of unexpected Cricket, thanks to Nissan and ICC

Nissan’s sports commitment sees the auto manufcaturer step in as global sponsor of International Cricket Council (ICC) for 8 years. The multiyear deal runs through 2023. During this time Nissan will sponsor ICC Cricket World Cup, ICC Champions Trophy and ICC World Twenty20, Under 19 tournaments, Women’s Cricket, and qualifying events.

The ICC partnership signed in mid October 2015 is a strong peg in Nissan’s sports sponsorship strategy and helps take the Japanese carmaker to global cricket enthusiasts and fans. As global partner, Nissan’s rights include extensive in-venue activation, broadcast and digital rights at ICC events. Beside ICC, Nissan is currently associated with UEFA Champions League, Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Olympic Teams of Great Britain, Mexico and Brazil, National Collegiate Athletics Association, the Heisman Trophy, City Football Group, and GT-R ambassador Usain Bolt.

The ICC partnership deal lets Nissan take the sport to fans through an exclusive range of exciting cricket moments of cricket with many more planned surprises scheduled.
