Nissan India has announced plans to increase prices of its entire range of Nissan and Datsun cars currently on sale in India. Prices of Nissan and Datsun cars will be increased by upto Rs 30,000 with effect from 1st Jan 2017.
Mr. Arun Malhotra, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. said, “The price increase comes as a result of rising input costs. The revision of prices will help us offset the impact of this and maintain our competitiveness in the industry.”
Nissan attributes rising input costs to this price hike. Micra Active, Micra, Sunny, Terrano and GT-R are sold in India under the Nissan brand. Cars are priced between INR 4.63 lakh to INR 1.99 crore. Entry level Datsun Red-Go is available at a base price of INR 2.44 lakh.
