Nissan, Datsun widen service network by partnering with TVS

Under the new partnership, Nissan will open Nissan Authorised Service Points (NASP) across India.

Nissan India announced today that they have tied up with MyTVS, a completely owned company of TVS Automobile Solutions Private Limited (TVS ASPL), under the umbrella of two-wheeler major, TVS Group.

First launched in 2001, MyTVS is a multi-brand car service franchise which is also one of the largest car service networks in the country. With Nissan India already investing heavily in widening their dealership and service network, this new partnership is definitely a step in the right direction.

The new partnership will also allow Nissan to sell original spares and parts at these outlets, which will be called Nissan Authorised Service Points (NASP). The first NASP outlets will be opened in Tamil Nadu. Plans are afoot to launch about 8 such outlets in the coming weeks. These will work in addition to the existing 23 outlets Nissan has in the state. Nissan has not revealed how many Nissan Authorised Service Points (NASP) they plan to launch in the coming months.

As of today, Nissan India has a network of about 220 dealerships. This they plan to increase to 300 outlets by March 2017. In addition to these outlets being venues of showcasing Nissan / Datsun cars, they also offer after sales service and sales of original spares.
