Nissan Kicks launch date is 22nd Jan – Company’s most premium SUV in India

An SUV that’s all about passion, adventure and intelligence, Nissan Kicks comes with advanced technology integrations that simplify and improve driving experience. Powered by Nissan Intelligent Mobility, Kicks lets the driver connect to the vehicle, so that they can drift together and function as a single unit.

Kicks is also offering first-in-segment Around View Monitor and NissanConnect that comes with smartwatch connectivity and over 50 features. After a long wait, Nissan India will officially launch Kicks SUV on 22nd Jan.

Speaking about the design, Kicks exudes confidence and you can notice that in first glance. Its design is such that every element and every feature appears to be alive and seems to be telling a story. Key features include Nissan signature V-motion grille, LED projector headlamps with DRLs, R17 5-spoke machined alloy wheels, door mounted ORVM with indicators, shark fin antenna, boomerang tail lamps and floating roof rails.

Nissan Kicks interiors have been done with great care and high-grade materials have been used to ensure the best quality and premium look and feel. It has dual-tone colour theme (black and brown), which has chocolaty vibes and looks irresistible. Key features include supple leather seating, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, mood lights, rear AC vents, retro-modern supervision cluster, and smartwatch connectivity with 50+ features.

Nissan Kicks will have both diesel and petrol options at the time of launch. Diesel variant will be powered by 1461cc, 4-cylinder, 1.5 K9K dCi diesel unit that makes 110 PS @ 3850 RPM and 240 Nm @ 1750 RPM. Engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. Petrol variant gets a 1498cc, 4-cylinder, 1.5 H4K petrol engine that makes 106 PS @ 5600 RPM and 142 Nm @ 4000 RPM. Engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

Booking for Nissan Kicks has started for Rs 25,000. It is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 15 lakh. Primary rivals are Hyundai Creta, Maruti S-Cross and Renault Captur.
