NEW DELHI, India – Nissan India today has introduced its refreshed Micra hatchback in a new ‘Sunshine Orange’ exterior colour coupled with an all-black sporty interior. The new colour options are applicable to all Nissan Micra and Micra Active variants without any price hike.
With this update, Nissan India hopes to boost sales of Micra this festive season. Nissan Micra sales have averaged 700 units a month.
The automatic Nissan Micra is now available with continuously variable transmission (CVT) at a price of Rs. 5.99 lakhs. New Nissan Micra is available in petrol, petrol CVT and diesel fuelled powertrains. Micra equipped with Nissan X-Tronic CVT delivers more mileage than its manual variant counterpart. Micra diesel reports maximum mileage of 23.08 kmpl as per ARAI test conditions. Petrol manual delivers 19.49 kmpl (only offered as Micra Active) while CVT delivers 19.34 kmpl.
Petrol variant is powered by a 1.2 liter engine generating 75 hp and 104 Nm. Diesel variant is in the form of a 1.5 liter mill generating 65 bhpp and 160 Nm.
Micra all-black interior features a black central console with piano black finish, black door trims, and black seat fabric with blue stitching. Micra Active variants feature a black instrument panel cluster and finisher, black seat fabric and a silver-colour door armrest finisher.
Nissan Micra is the most exported hatchback from India. Driven in 100 countries, upward of 6 million units have been sold globally.
