Nissan Navara pickup was first unveiled back in 2014 in Thailand. About a few weeks ago, Nissan unveiled the new Sportech pack for the Navara, and now the same has been showcased at the 2016 Bangkok Motor Show.
As the name suggests, Nissan Navara Sportech kit gives the pickup a more sportier design. The package includes meatier front apron, LED cargo lamp, Sportech emblem on the tailgate, bedliner, honeycomb grille with smoked chrome, side stepping in matte finish, new 18-inch dual tone alloys, sport bar with Sportech emblem, shark fin antenna, smoked chrome accents on the front and rear bumper.
The Sportech treatment is offered in three colour options of the Navara – Dark Blue, Pearl White and Orange. Front hood and foglight housing also get colourful stripes. On the inside, Sportech treatment offers silver accents on the dashboard, doors and seats.
Power to the Nissan Navara Sportech comes from a range of petrol and diesel four-cylinder engines. The diesel burner is a 2.5 liter DOHC which is available in two tunes. The entry level generates 161 hp @ 3,600 rpm and 403 Nm @ 2,000 rpm, while more powerful variant generates 188 hp and 450 Nm for the same rpm’s.
